- The date your books currently closeThe actual date, including the month that slipped. The honest figure is the one worth discussing.
- The number of legal entities you consolidateAnd whether the consolidation runs in the system or in a spreadsheet that one person understands.
- The system you runQuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Xero or something older, and whether a migration is already under discussion.
- Who does the work todayHeadcount, seniority, and which of those people you are concerned about losing.
- Who is waiting on the numbersA lender with a covenant, a board, an investor, a buyer, or your auditor with a deadline. It changes what we would address first.

What happens on the discovery call?
Forty-five minutes. We ask which close dates you are missing, how many entities you consolidate, which system you run and who does the work today. You get a direct answer on whether we fit, including a no. The call carries no fee.
What do you need in order to quote a fixed fee?
Read-only access, or a recent trial balance together with a walk through the close as it currently runs. We do not quote from a description of your books. A fee quoted blind is a guess, and the guess is usually wrong in the seller’s favour.
How quickly can you start?
Two to four weeks from signature is normal. If we cannot start you properly inside four weeks, we say so rather than place you in a queue.
